Pricing varies depending on the quality of the equipment being used, the mover’s systems and processes, and the most important thing of all, experience. While you may come across movers that are “cheaper”, this is mostly due to the quality of the mover, how they handle your move, will they show up, and how they will respond if something goes wrong. Have you ever heard of the old saying “You get what you pay for?”. We think competition is a good thing, however, we encourage you to ask some additional questions to those you interview to ensure you don’t make a mistake. Conversely, bigger franchise companies often are more expensive, but offer storage solutions and varies kinds of property liability protection that small movers can’t get.
